After the login with your login dates, which you will receive after enrolment, you can get access to your courses and the respective lecture material. Please sign up for all courses on Moodle within the first week of term. You will be given a password for this during the Welcome Session on the first day.

No. The proof of A2 German, which needs to be delivered by the end of the second semester at the very latest, has to be acquired externally.

The study programme requires 210 ECTS (see study regulation §5). If you have less thant 210 ECTS then you have the following options (also see study regulation §5 paragraph (2)).

1. Take a "Basic" module from the study programme and apply for recognition as "Bachelor Module". The Basic Modules can be found in the course catalogue.
2. Take a module from any Bachelor degree programme at the OTH and apply for recognition at the study office.
3. If you worked befor application for the study programme, then you can apply for recognition of your practical experience. For example, if you have worked for 6 months full time this may be recognized with 30 ECTS.

Please not that you have only one year to prove that you have achieved enought credit points for the study programme.

Yes, the completion of the online test is required. An exceptionaccording to the  study regulations only applies if you are among the best in the year and can prove this.

​​​​​​​If you have submitted your application documents, you will automatically be invited shortly before the next period of the online test.

In the test, your knowledge of mathematics and computer science will be tested. In mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics and statistics are particularly relevant. In computer science, the focusis on imperative and object-oriented programming in Python. In addition,there are a few questions on automata, algorithms, and databases. More details can be found in the Moodle course, which you will get access to after your application.

You will receive a message shortly before the test opens. Then you can read through all the information online and prepare. Take the test at the end of time, then you should have more than 7 days to prepare.

Yes, we do provide a semester ticket for public transport for 90 € – which is included in the enrolment fee. Additionally you get a discount in some (public) institutions like e.g. swimming pool.

Some accommodation is available only 5 minutes walking distance from the university. Please note that in Germany, accommodation in student halls of residence is not automatically granted upon admission to a degree program.
