    Forschungsfeld

    1. Big Data Curation: KI-gestützte Verfahren um sicherzustellen, dass relevante Daten auch in Zukunft zuverlässig verfügbar sind, für Forschung und zur Wiederverwendung. Denn „Löschen ist leicht. Bewahren ist hart!“

    Forschungsinteressen

    Abgeleitet aus dem breiten Gebiet „Big Data und Cloud Computing für KI” beobachte ich die internationale DB-Community zu folgenden Forschungsfeldern und bearbeite gerne Unterbereiche davon als Forschungsthema:

    1. Green Big Processing: Nach Kosten optimierte Verfahren, zur Sicherstellung von Relevanz und Ökonomie für die Massendatenverarbeitung in der Cloud
    2. Massiv-parallele Programmierung von KI-Verfahren
    3. Integriertes maschinelles Lernen in Datenbanksystemen
    4. Skalierbare Datenarchitekturen in der Cloud auf modernen und sich weiterentwickelnden Hardware-Infrastrukturen
    5. Intelligente Algorithmen, skalierbare Datenarchitekturen und agile Datenintegration mit NewSQL- und NoSQL-Systemen
